Analysis Modules Tab - Configure Sequence Analyzer Available Rules Dialog Box
Analysis Modules Tab
Use the Analysis Modules tab to add, remove, and edit custom analysis module specifications on the computer.
The Analysis Modules tab contains the following sections:
-
BuiltinRules.tsarules
—Shows the settings of the built-in analysis modules National Instruments provides. TestStand stores the analysis module settings in the
<TestStand>
\Components\Analyzer\BuiltinRules.tsarules
file.
Note You cannot modify the built-in modules.
- CustomRules.tsarules —Shows the settings of the custom analysis modules on the computer. TestStand stores the analysis module settings in the <TestStand Application Data> \Cfg\CustomRules.tsarules file.
Right-click an analysis module and select Insert Analysis Module from the context menu to create a custom analysis module specification. You can also click the New Analysis Module button located to the right of the <Insert New Analysis Module> item in the Rule ID column to launch the Edit Analysis Module dialog box.
Double-click an analysis module specification, right-click an analysis module specification and select Edit Analysis Module from the context menu, or click the Edit Analysis Module button located to the right of the Module column to launch the Edit Analysis Module dialog box, in which you can view the settings for built-in analysis modules and edit the settings for custom analysis modules.
You can drag and drop custom analysis modules to change the order of the list, which the TestStand Sequence Analyzer uses to determine the order in which to call the analysis modules. The sequence analyzer runs the built-in analysis modules before any custom analysis modules. You can cut, copy, paste, and delete custom analysis modules.
Before you edit an analysis module DLL or VI, you must unload the analysis module from memory. You can unload all analysis modules by right-clicking anywhere on the Analysis Modules tab and selecting Unload All Modules from the context menu. In the TestStand Sequence Editor , you can also select File»Unload All Modules to unload all modules, including analysis modules, from memory.
