Click the Check or uncheck parameters using a filter button on the Additional Results panel and select the Configure Parameter Filter menu item to launch the Configure Parameter Filter dialog box in the TestStand Sequence Editor . Click the Check or uncheck parameters using a filter button in the Additional Results dialog box and select the Configure Parameter Filter menu item to launch the Configure Parameter Filter dialog box in a TestStand User Interface .

Use this dialog box to specify the parameter results you normally do not want to log. Then enable the Check Non-Filtered Parameters or Uncheck Filtered Parameters options in this dialog box to log or not log parameters according to the specified filter. You can also click the Check or uncheck parameters using a filter button on the Additional Results panel or in the Additional Results dialog box and select the Check Non-Filtered Parameters or Uncheck Filtered Parameters menu items to log or not log parameters according to the specified filter.

The Configure Parameter Filter dialog box contains the following options:

• Select parameters to filter out —Contains the categories of parameters you can include in the filter.
  • [In] Parameters —Enable to filter out [In] parameters.
  • [Out] Parameters —Enable to filter out [Out] parameters.
  • Subproperties of Step.Result —Enable to filter out properties that are subproperties of Step.Result , such as Step.Result.Numeric . You normally do not need to log subproperties of Step.Result because TestStand already copies subproperties of Step.Result to the result list.
  • Object References —Enable to filter out Object Reference objects.
  • Uncopyable Objects (e.g. Sequence Context) —Enable to filter out objects TestStand cannot copy to the result list. Objects TestStand cannot copy include the SequenceContext , Execution , Thread , and Report objects. When TestStand logs one of these objects, TestStand logs a string description of the object instead of a copy of the object.
• On OK —The action you want to take after you specify the parameters to include in the filter.
  • Check Non-Filtered Parameters —Places a checkmark in all parameters not included in the parameter filter when you click OK .
  • Uncheck Filtered Parameters —Removes the checkmark from all parameters included in the parameter filter when you click OK .
