Click the Export button in the Configure Sequence Analyzer Available Rules dialog box to launch the Export Items to File dialog box, in which you export custom rules and analysis module specifications on the computer to a rules file.

The Export Items to File dialog box contains the following items:

• Select Items to Export —Lists the custom rules and analysis module specifications you can export. You cannot export built-in rules or analysis module specifications. When you export a custom rule that has a configuration module, you must manually copy the configuration module—a DLL or VI—and any supporting files, such as string files, the rule configuration module requires to the target computer. When you export a custom analysis module specification, you must manually copy the analysis module—a DLL or VI—and any supporting files, such as string files, the analysis module requires to the target computer.
• Export —Launches a file dialog box, in which you create or browse for the rules file to use.
