Select Edit»Diff Sequence File Against when a Sequence File window is active in the TestStand Sequence Editor and more than one sequence file is opened in the sequence editor to launch the Select Sequence File dialog box, in which you can select a second sequence file to diff against the sequence file associated with the active window. The sequence editor displays the differences between the two sequence files in the TestStand File Diff and Merge utility.

The Select Sequence File dialog box contains the following option:

• Select Opened Sequence File to Diff —The currently opened sequence files in the sequence editor. The sequence file associated with the active window is not included in the list.

Click the File Browse button to select a sequence file from disk instead of using a sequence file the sequence editor already loaded. When you have made modifications to a file, you can select the version of the file on disk to compare to the file you are modifying.
