Update Large Address Aware Flag Dialog Box
Use the Update Large Address Aware Flag utility to enable or disable the Large Address Aware flag for an executable file to
increase the amount of memory
available to the application.
Note
- The Large Address Aware flag is enabled by default for the TestStand Sequence Editor and TestStand User Interfaces, as well as any executables created with LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI.
- The Update Large Address Aware Flag utility is included only with 32-bit TestStand.
You can launch the utility in the following ways:
- (Windows 8.1) Click the NI Launcher tile on the Start screen and select TestStand»Tools»Update Large Address Aware Flag .
- (Windows 10 or 7) Select Start»All Programs»National Instruments»TestStand»Tools»Update Large Address Aware Flag .
Note
National Instruments recommends using Microsoft Windows 7 or later with large address aware functionality.
The Update Large Address Aware Flag utility contains the following options:
- File Path —Lists the absolute file path for the executable.
- Flag Status —Indicates whether the Large Address Aware flag is enabled or disabled for the selected application.
- Add —Specifies the absolute path of the application.
- Remove —Removes the selected path from the File Path list.
- Remove All —Removes all paths from the File Path list.
- Select Operation —Specify whether to enable or disable the Large Address Aware flag.
