Click Create on the Code Templates tab of the Step Type Properties dialog box to launch the Create Code Templates dialog box.

The Create Code Templates dialog box contains the following options:

• New Code Template Name —The name for the code template. TestStand uses this name to specify the subdirectory under <TestStand Public> \CodeTemplates where the code template files are created.
• New Code Template Description —A brief description for the code template.
• New Code Template Type —The type of code template. The code template type determines which adapter the code module is associated with.
• Base the New Template on —An existing code template for TestStand to copy.
