Select Tools»Import/Export Properties to launch the Import/Export Properties dialog box, where you can import values from a property loader source or export values to a property loader source.

When you edit a sequence file, you can import values from a database or file into step properties or variables. You can also export values from step properties or variables to a database or file. The Import/Export Properties tool always uses the current sequence file open in the Sequence Editor to perform the import/export operation.

When you are importing, the tool gives you the following options:

• Add —Adds a new property loader source.
• Remove —Removes the currently selected property loader source.
• Move Up —Moves the currently selected property loader source up by one level.
• Move Down —Moves the currently selected property loader source down by one level.

The Import/Export Properties tool displays the following tabs, depending on whether you are performing an import or export operation:

• Import Options
• Export Options
• Property Selector

Click the Preview button to launch the Import Preview dialog box, which displays a preview of the changes for the target sequence file.
