Select a VI from a LabVIEW Packed Project Library Dialog Box
Double-click a LabVIEW packed project library ( .lvlibp ) file in the list control of the Open File dialog box to display the contents of the packed project library file and launch the Select a VI from a LabVIEW Packed Project Library dialog box, in which you can select a VI from the packed project library to open.
Calling a VI from a packed project library is faster than calling an individual VI independent of a packed project library. When you open a VI from a packed project library, LabVIEW consolidates the types for all the VIs included in the packed project library during the load process. You cannot load a VI in a packed project library independent of the other VIs in the packed project library.
