TestStand launches the Error dialog box when an error occurs while using the TestStand Sequence Editor or custom user interface.

This dialog box displays a description of the error and error code. Certain errors include additional details. Click Expand/Collapse Details to view or hide these additional details. If there are no additional details, the button is hidden.

Some errors are related to a specific step in an open TestStand sequence file. If step location information is available, the dialog will ask if you want to go to the step in question. Click Yes to go to the step where the error occurred. Click No to dismiss the dialog without going to the step.
