TestStand Remote EXE Server Dialog Box
In Microsoft Windows Explorer, browse to the <TestStand> \Components\StepTypes\CallExec\remoteserver directory and run RemoteEXEServer.exe to launch the TestStand Remote EXE Server dialog box.
The TestStand Remote EXE Server is a separate executable that runs independent from TestStand. To run an executable on a remote Windows computer, you must have the TestStand Remote EXE Server running on the remote computer. Copy RemoteEXEServer.exe to the remote computer and run it to configure the TestStand Remote EXE Server.
The TestStand Remote EXE Server dialog box contains the following options:
- Host Name —The host name of the server.
- Port Number —The port number of the server.
- Password —The password of the server.
- Log File —Specifies if a log file exists and where it is located.
- Show this Screen on Startup —Specifies whether the server will start automatically or wait until this dialog box has been closed.
- Save Configuration —When you enable this option, TestStand saves the configuration settings for the next time the TestStand Remote EXE Server runs.
