Regenerate IP Integration Node Support Files
Use this dialog box to regenerate support files for IP Integration Nodes in a VI hierarchy.
Regenerate support files to ensure your design compiles with a specific FPGA target, especially when you upgrade LabVIEW versions, upgrade your FPGA target, or upgrade the Xilinx compilation tools. Refer to the support document at ni.com for more information about NI hardware supported by each Xilinx compilation tool.
Select Tools»FPGA Module»Regenerate IP Integration Node Support Files to display this dialog box.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Top-level VI path | Specifies a top-level VI whose hierarchy this dialog box scans for IP Integration Nodes. |
IP Integration Nodes | Displays all IP Integration Nodes in the hierarchy of the top-level VI and whether LabVIEW updated, skipped, or failed to update each node. The status available varies depending on your specific FPGA target. |
skip | Specifies whether LabVIEW updates only support files that have changed since the last update. Placing a checkmark in this checkbox can save a significant amount of regeneration time. Removing the checkmark from this checkbox increases regeneration time but can fix errors in the generated files. |
Support Files
Complete either of the following tasks to restore missing support files.
- If you moved the IP Integration Node from another computer or from another location on disk, locate the support files in the original location or place them in the same location relative to the current location of the IP Integration Node.
- Return to the first page of the wizard, remove all files, and start again.
