Quick Drop Dialog Box
Press the <Ctrl-Space> keys to display the Quick Drop dialog box. On Chinese keyboards, press the <Ctrl-Shift-Space> keys. (macOS) Press the <Command-Shift-Space> keys. (Linux) Press the <Alt-Space> keys.
Use this dialog box to quickly find a palette object or project item by name and then add the object to the block diagram or front panel window.
You also can use special Quick Drop keyboard shortcuts while the Quick Drop dialog box is active.
This dialog box includes the following components:
Option | Description |
---|---|
Object Name | Allows you to enter the name of the object you want to place on the block diagram or front panel. You also use this text field to specify text for Ctrl-Key shortcuts, or plugins, that accept text input. |
Name Match List | Displays the names of the objects that match the name you enter in the Object Name. |
Configure | Displays the Quick Drop Configuration dialog box so you can configure shortcuts for the Quick Drop dialog box. |
