HTBasic Adapter

Note The HTBasic Adapter is hidden by default. Use the Adapter Configuration dialog box to configure the HTBasic Adapter.
Use the HTBasic Adapter to call HTBasic subroutines without passing parameters directly to a subroutine. TestStand provides a library of CSUB routines that use the TestStand API to access TestStand variables and properties from an HTBasic subroutine.
Note
  • (Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista) HTBasic currently does not support Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista. If you installed the HTBasic 9.0 development environment under Windows 8.1/8/7/Vista, you can perform the Edit Subroutine and Create Subroutine functions on the HTBasic Module tab in the TestStand Sequence Editor when you use a step configured to use the HTBasic Adapter, but the HTBasic code modules might not run correctly.
  • (64-bit TestStand) 64-bit TestStand does not support the HTBasic Adapter.

When you specify a module for a step, the sequence editor displays the HTBasic Module tab and TestStand User Interfaces launch the Edit HTBasic Subroutine Call dialog box.
