You can create custom components or modify installed TestStand components to change TestStand behavior on a development computer. You must include the custom components in a deployment for the test station computers to use the same modified TestStand behavior. For example, if you use a custom localized string resource file for a user interface on a development computer, you must include that file in the deployment for use on the test station computer.

The following <TestStand>\Components subdirectories contain files you might want to copy to a corresponding <TestStand Public> directory, customize, and include in a deployment:
