Complete the following steps to include unmodified files in a patch deployment.

1. Select the file in the Distributed Files section of the Distributed Files tab of the TestStand Deployment Utility.
2. Select Included in the File Status control of the File Properties tab.

Selecting the Included option always includes the file in the patch deployment, even if the file is unmodified. Use this technique to return a file that might have been modified on a test station computer to a known state or to set installer properties, such as registering an ActiveX Automation server or creating a new program item.
