Adding Custom Input Fields to the User Interface
Use dynamic form fields to add custom input fields to the configuration slide-out for a resource.
Introduced in January 2025
DFFs let you collect additional information about a resource by providing additional input fields the user.
- Assets
- Products
- Systems
- Test Plans
- Work Orders
Display rules allow you to control when a field is visible to the user. For example, you can specify that a field is visible only when the vendor for the asset is NI.
Complete the following steps to define and to implement your DFFs in a configuration.
