To create a waveform, select the Modulation menu, which presents you with all the modulation schemes currently supported by the application. For more information about the supported schemes, refer to the RFmx Waveform Creator Modulation Schemes.

For example, from the Modulation drop-down list, select Generic»PSK. This opens New Settings File window as shown in the following image.

• New Default Settings: Enables you to define a new modulation scheme.
• Example Settings: Enables you to use example settings that have been provided with RFmx Waveform Creator, or those that you may have previously created and saved in the RFmx Waveform Creator Examples directory. Refer to RFmx Waveform Creator Examples topic for more information.

For this example, select New Default Settings and click OK. This opens a new window, which has tabs for Modulation, Multi-Carrier, Filter, IQ Impairments, and Graphics settings.
