Using NI-RFSA Soft Front Panel (SFP) session access, you can automatically launch the SFP from a LabVIEW probe. Using the SFP can help you verify proper configuration of your hardware. Additionally, you can modify your hardware configuration from the SFP. When you launch the SFP from a probe, SFP session access is automatically enabled.

  1. In your block diagram, probe the device instrument handle by right-clicking a valid NI-RFSA session reference wire and selecting Probe.
  2. In the Probe Watch Window, place a checkmark in the Launch Soft Front Panel (Pause VI Execution) checkbox.

The following figure shows the Probe Watch Window.

When your program data reaches the probe, code execution pauses and the SFP launches.
