Use the Measurement VIs to calculate the motor speed and the mechanical rotor position and to simulate a Hall effect sensor or resolver.
Palette Object | Description |

Hall Effect Sensor Model | Simulates a Hall effect sensor that detects the mechanical position of the motor rotor. |
Motor Speed and Rotor Position | Calculates the motor speed and mechanical rotor position at the next time step. A time step is the interval between the time at which the electric motor evaluates the running speed and updates the rotor position. |
Resolver Model | Simulates a resolver that detects the position of the motor rotor. |
