The PXI System Setup and Maintenance course is an introduction to NI PXI hardware. It explores the components of PXI systems and illustrates how to safely connect, set up, troubleshoot, and maintain the hardware.

Safely and effectively set up and configure a PXI system
Safely insert and remove peripheral modules into compatible PXI chassis slots
Follow procedures for safe system operation, including ensuring proper airflow to the system and safely powering the system on and off
Identify and test hardware connections using NI MAX
Perform power budgeting and follow routine maintenance procedures to ensure safe and reliable system performance
Apply basic troubleshooting techniques to determine which part of the system is causing unexpected results
