Use a Create sessions and Apply Configuration step to create IO sessions associated with the selected IO configuration and then apply the selected configuration on those IO sessions.

Configuring the Step

Use the Create sessions and Apply Configuration edit tab in the TestStand Sequence Editor and the Configure Create sessions and Apply Configurations dialog box in a TestStand User Interface to create IO sessions associated with the selected IO configuration and then apply the selected configuration on those IO sessions.

Step Properties

In addition to the common custom properties , the Create sessions and Apply Configuration step type defines the following step properties:

• Step.IOConfigurations —Specifies the list of IO sessions to create and the configuration to apply to the sessions.
• Step.StepDescription —Specifies a brief description of the step.
• Step.Adapter —Specifies the adapter to use to create the IO sessions.
