Close Sessions Step

Use a Close Sessions step to close currently open IO sessions. You can close all open IO sessions or close selected IO sessions.
Note If you do not close IO sessions for instruments that are open in TestStand, you will be unable to use the instruments in other applications.

Configuring the Step

Use the Close Sessions edit tab in the TestStand Sequence Editor and the Configure Close Sessions dialog box in a TestStand User Interface to specify which IO sessions you want to close.

Step Properties

In addition to the common custom properties , the Close Session step type defines the following step properties:

  • Step.SessionList —The session location where each session is stored and whether to ignore any errors encountered while closing session(s).
