Adding and Editing Metadata of SystemLink File Service Files
Add and edit metadata of SystemLink file service files to identify these files and to make it easier to find these files within a search.

In Data Navigation, select an instance
that indexes the SystemLink file service, like the FileIndex
instance, and click
» Connect.

Click the File Service tab.
SystemLink shows the files that are stored on the SystemLink server. The number of files displayed depends on the setting at the bottom right of the window.

Select a file and click » Edit metadata properties.
- Click Add Property.

Enter the name and value of the new metadata property.
Note You can also add metadata to a SystemLink file service file in the search results list.
- Click OK.
