Connector Use Connector Type
REF OUT Output terminal that can export a 10 MHz Reference Clock. MMPX (f)
PFI 0 This is reserved and not enabled for use with the PXIe-5841.
REF IN Input terminal that allows the use of an external Reference Clock with one of the following frequencies:
  • 10 MHz
  • 100 MHz
  • 270 MHz
  • 3.84 MHz × y, where y is 4, 8, 16, 24, 25, or 32
MMPX (f)
LO 0 OUT Output terminal for the LO source. This terminal has no signal at power on and reset. MMPX (f)
LO 0 IN Input terminal that allows the use of an external local oscillator. MMPX (f)
LO 1 IN Input terminal that allows the use of an external local oscillator. MMPX (f)
LO 1 OUT Output terminal for the LO source. This terminal has no signal at power on and reset. MMPX (f)

LED Indications
ACCESS

Indicates the basic hardware status of the module.

  • Off—The module is not yet functional or has detected a problem with a PXI Express power rail.
  • Amber—The module is being accessed. Accessed means that you are writing to the device setup registers to control the device, reading from the device to monitor the device status, or transferring data to or from the device.
  • Green—The module is controllable through the software.
  • ACTIVE
  • Off—The module is idle or locked to the requested reference.
  • Solid red—The PLL is unlocked or the module temperature is out of the specified operating range.
