Re-enabling the PXIe-5164 After Thermal Shutdown
The PXIe-5164 will go through thermal shutdown if the onboard temperature exceeds 96°C.
The PXIe-5164 measures the temperature at the device FPGA to evaluate thermal conditions. You can read the value at the FPGA temperature sensor with the NI System Configuration API.
Reboot your system to re-enable your device after thermal shutdown.
Note The thermal shutdown error continues to report until the device is successfully reset.
