Deploying Linux Applications

The following LabWindows/CVI Runtime RPM Package Manager (RPM) packages are available for distribution:

• nicvirte-8.0-n.i386—Contains the files in the LabWindows/CVI Runtime.
• labview-rte-aal-1.1-1.i386.rpm—Contains the support files for the Advanced Analysis Library. You must include this package if your application uses the Advanced Analysis Library.
• niIviEngine-2.4.0-f3.i386.rpm—Contains the IVI Engine.

You can find these files in <InstallDir>/redist directory.

Note   You should have an understanding of how RPM works to deploy a LabWindows/CVI application. Refer to the RPM Web site at www.rpm.org for more information about RPM.
