Complete the following steps to use the Touch Panel Project template to create a new project.

  1. Select File»Create Project to display the Create Project dialog box.
  2. Search for the Touch Panel Project template and click Next.
  3. On the Configure the new project page, complete the following steps to configure details of the project.
    1. Specify the name of the .lvproj file and directory to save the project in Project Name and Project Root, respectively.
    2. (Optional) In the Modify VI Icons section, edit the appearance of VI icons.
    3. Click Browse to open the Add Targets and Devices dialog box. Select the touch panel target to add to the project and click OK.
    4. Select a touch panel VI template from the VI template pull-down menu.
  4. Click Finish to save the project and open the Project Explorer window.

The project appears in the Project Explorer window. Double-click the VI under the target to open the front panel and block diagram windows. Refer to the comments on the block diagrams of VIs in the project for more information about how to modify the project. Also refer to the Project Documentation folder in the Project Explorer window for more information about how to modify the project.
