A PDU takes an input power signal and distributes it to a number of outlets that can power components of the system. These internal power outlets from the PDU have a rated voltage and current and are available for both alternating and direct current.
- The RMX-10151 Single-Phase PDU provides single-phase voltage sources to up to eight rack instruments as well as DC PDUs.
- RMX-10153 3-Phase PDUs supply 3-phase power from RMX-10140-50D2P and RMX-10140-50Y2P power entry panels (PEPs) to up to three 3-phase powered instruments in the rack.
- AUX DC 600 and AUX DC 1200 PDUs provide DC voltage sources to devices in an ATE Core Configurations Generation 2 system using static 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V rails.
AC and DC power outlets can be controlled and monitored using the NI-ATE Core driver. The current for each outlet is monitored using an onboard current sensor.

- AUX DC 600 and AUX DC 1200 Power Distribution Units
ATE Core Configurations Generation 2 AUX DC power distribution units (PDUs) provide DC voltage sources to instruments throughout the rack. The DC PDUs provide options for static 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V rails.
- RMX-10153 3-Phase Power Distribution Unit
The RMX-10153 3-Phase power distribution unit (PDU) distributes 3-phase power from an RMX-10140-50D2P or RMX-10140-50Y2P PEP to high-power instruments in the ATE-38U/44U.
- Emergency Shutdown (EMO)
When a test system encounters a serious issue or an emergency is taking place in the facility, operators need the ability to quickly and cleanly power off the test system. EMO mechanisms are included on ATE Core Configurations Generation 2 systems to simplify connectivity and inhibit power switching.
- Grounding
Protective earthing is provided by the appliance inlet. Grounding terminals can be used for a supplemental or functional ground strap.
