The Automotive HIL Course covers the major components of the HIL workflow, as well as how HIL systems are used in the industry. This course helps you become familiar with component-level and system level HIL. Additionally, the course covers topics including system setup, model and Custom Device integration, vehicle bus protocol fault insertion, residual bus simulation, use of automotive toolkits, and debugging. You also will learn how to perform automated testing in VeriStand or Python, how to create models and custom devices in HIL and add them into VeriStand, and how to manage your HIL system using SystemLink. The Automotive HIL Course is recommended for users or test engineers responsible for setting up, reconfiguring, operating, or troubleshooting an HIL system. Experience with topics covered in the HIL Fundamentals Using VeriStand Course is recommended.
