100-Pin Quad Flat Pack (QFP) GPIB ASIC
The TNT4882 is a single-chip IEEE 488.2 Talker/Listener interface to the GPIB. It combines the circuitry of the NAT4882 IEEE 488.2 controller application specific-integrated circuit (ASIC), Turbo488 performance-enhancing ASIC, and GPIB transceivers to create a single-chip IEEE 488.2 interface. You can port existing code from the NAT4882, the NEC �PD7210, and the TI TMS9914A register sets directly to the TNT4882. The TNT4882 features transfer rates up to 1.5 MB/s using the IEEE 488.1 handshake or up to 8 MB/s using the HS488 GPIB handshake protocol. The TNT500X is Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (RoHS)-compliant. Additionally, the TNT4882 includes a 100-pin plastic QFP surface-mount package with built-in IEEE 488.1-compliant transceivers.
