Il TNT500X fornisce un circuito integrato specifico per l'applicazione IEEE 488.2 Talker/Listener (ASIC) a chip singolo e un'interfaccia CPU a 16 bit per GPIB e contiene il TNT4882 e ASIC NAT9914. È possibile trasferire il codice esistente da questi ASIC direttamente sul TNT500X.
