PXIe-8623 è un modulo di interfaccia Ethernet automobilistica PXI UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) 100/1000BASE-T1 non schermata per lo sviluppo di applicazioni con il driver NI-XNET. Con PXle-8623 è possibile sviluppare applicazioni che richiedono lo standard Ethernet per testare e convalidare centraline elettroniche (ECU) per autoveicoli. PXIe-8623 fornisce fino a quattro endpoint indipendenti o fino a due TAP (Terminal Access Point) di rete. È dotato di hardware timestamp su scheda e può agire come fino a quattro master o slave 802.1AS separati, in modo da potersi sincronizzare con una rete esterna e con il resto di un sistema PXI. PXIe-8623 fornisce inoltre LED sul pannello frontale in modo da poter monitorare il collegamento di rete e l'attività.
