The LabVIEW Communications 802.11 Application Framework is a software add-on that provides a real-time orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) physical (PHY) layer and a lower medium access control (MAC) implementation that is aligned with the IEEE 802.11 standard. Provided as source code, this framework allows wireless researchers to quickly get their real-time prototyping setups running, focus on the aspects of the protocol that they wish to improve, modify the designs, and then compare their changes with the existing standard. The LabVIEW Communications 802.11 Application Framework requires the LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite.
