The DB String Data Extension helps you manage data from external databases in the form of 2D string arrays.

The DB String Data Extension is a software add-on for LabVIEW that extends the functionality of the LabVIEW Database Connectivity Toolkit. With the DB String Data Extension, you can connect to external databases and manage the data as 2D string arrays. You can maintain these 2D string array connectors across LabVIEW projects of any size, and you can analyze and present the arrays after primary database processing. This add-on is ideal in cases where the data structure in a relational database management system (RDBMS) needs to be modified often.
