VLM UI Hangs Due to Database Being Locked

The Volume License Manager User Interface appears to freeze or takes much longer than usual to complete new license file installation or when performing a restore operation. This is caused by multiple calls sending commands to the database that contains VLM data. When too many commands are sent to the database simultaneously, processes will time out, causing the application to freeze.

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.
