On the PXIe-4135/6/7 when Output Cutoff is triggered, it cannot be disabled without calling resetting the deviceWhen Output Cutoff is enabled on the NI PXIe-4135, PXIe-4136, PXIe-4137, if a condition is reached which activates the cutoff on a channel, calling Reset with Channels will not clear the output cutoff condition. In this situation, the channel will continue to output a near-zero voltage and current.
Workaround: Call Reset Device to remove the Output Cutoff condition.

An internal hardware error (-235140) intermittently occurs on PXIe-4135/6/7On the NI PXIe-4135, PXIe-4136 and PXIe-4137, in certain situations, these instruments may return an internal hardware error (-235140) with the Self Test Code 268435457 in the error description. Workaround: Perform a device reset on the instrument.

NI-DCPower Fetch and Measure may cause a system crash under very high CPU load when using the PXIe-4147, PXIe-4162, or PXIe-4163When retrieving measurements from the PXIe-4147, PXIe-4162, or PXIe-4163, a race condition may cause a system crash (Blue Screen of Death). The likelihood of the crash increases with an increased number of simultaneous calls to niDCPower Fetch Multiple or niDCPower Measure Multiple (for example, when using a Parallel For Loop in LabVIEW). Workaround: Serialize calls to niDCPower Fetch Multiple and niDCPower Measure Multiple. Use niDCPower Wait for Event to wait for the Measure Complete Event prior to calling Fetch Multiple.

NI-DCPower: The 1 uA and 10 uA current ranges on the PXIe-4162 and PXIe-4163 10pA variants may be out of specification. The 1 uA and 10 uA current ranges on the PXIe-4162 10 pA and PXIe-4163 10pA variants may be out of specification. The current offset measurement error in the 1 uA and 10 uA ranges exceed the published specifications when the board temperature deviates by a few degrees from the external calibration temperature. Self-calibration will not rectify this error. As the board temperature diverges from the external calibration temperature, the probability of measurement error falling outside of specifications increases. Note: The PXIe-4162 100 pA and PXIe-4163 100 pA variants are affected.
Workaround: Perform external calibration using NI-DCPower 2024 Q3 Patch 3 or newer. Ensure you only use the instrument in a system with NI-DCPower 2024 Q3 Patch 3 or newer.
