PXIe-4147/62/63 devices allow configured Voltage or Current levels to be larger than the Level Range when Autorange is enabled.

On the PXIe-4147/62/63, after using a basic sequence with Voltage Level Autorange or Current Level Autorange enabled, the Voltage or Current Level Range is not restored to the configured range. This can cause the configured Voltage or Current Level to be larger than the Level Range.

Workaround:

Explicitly configure the Voltage Level Range or Current Level Range immediately after running a basic sequence.

The PXIe-4162 Guard pin does not behave correctly when Autorange is enabled

When Current Limit Range is set to 60 mA / 100 mA and the Autorange property is set to 1 (Enabled), the Guard pin will output a much smaller voltage than expected, even when the hardware selects a current range where guarding is available.

Workaround:

Turn off Autorange property when using 60 mA/100 mA current limit range alongside Guard pin functionality on PXIe-4162.

SignalExpress 1.2 or earlier and the IVI Power Supply step

The IVI Power Supply step does not support NI-DCPower in Signal Express 1.2 or earlier.

Workaround:

Use the native NI-DCPower Express step to access NI-DCPower from within SignalExpress 1.2 or earlier. In SignalExpress 2.0 or later, you can use either the IVI Power Supply step or the NI-DCPower Express step.
