Overview

This document contains the InstrumentStudio known issues that were discovered before and since the release of InstrumentStudio 2024 Q3. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.

 

Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. Edit Layout is busy for a long period of time when a Plug-In Library server is disconnected

When a disconnected Plug-In Library server is present in the InstrumentStudio preferences, Edit Layout is slow to load. 


Workaround:

Delete the disconnected server from the InstrumentStudio preferences (File->Preferences->Remote Connections)

InstrumentStudio 2024 Q3 Professional features are not available when RFmx 2024 Q3 is installed

License activation for InstrumentStudio Professional does not work when the RFmx 2024 Q3 driver is installed. License Manager will show InstrumentStudio as licensed, but licensed features will not be available in the application.

Workaround:

There is no known workaround for this issue in InstrumentStudio 2024 Q3. Install InstrumentStudio 2024 Q3.1 or later.
