RT Target Login from NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) Not Possible When Password Contains §.

NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) allows you to set a password for an RT Target containing §, but then you cannot log in to that system from MAX afterwards.

Workaround:

Change the password via SSH.

Memory Corruption can occur when a network session is closed multiple times

A memory corruption can occur when opening a System Configuration network session and closing it multiple times. This corruption can cause a crash of the top-level process. 

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.

MAX 21.5 and older fails to bring up Add/Remove Software dialog with "Miscellaneous operation failure" for NI Linux RT targets with 2023 Q4 base system image

NI MAX 21.5 and older has an SSH incompatibility with NI Linux RT 2023 Q4. This can manifest as a miscellaneous software error in NI MAX when attempting to Add/Remove Software from a real time target. 

Workaround:

Upgrade NI System Configuration or NI MAX to version 2022 Q3 or newer.
