Overview

The following items are notable issues fixed between the release of Package Manager 2022 Q3 and Package Manager 2022 Q4, including additional patches and service packs. Package files not removed from cache directory when uninstalled

Package Manager keeps a copy of installed package files in its "cache" directory (C:\ProgramData\National Instruments\NI Package Manager\Packages) to support creating custom feeds and installers, and for performing package repair operations. Package Manager does not remove packages from the directory when uninstalled.

Workaround:

Manually delete uninstalled packages from the "cache" directory.
