niDCPower Configure Output Enabled VI can take 20 seconds to execute with NI-DCPower 21.3

When using NI-DCPower hardware in Current Mode and calling "niDCPower Configure Output Enabled" VI, the VI can take 20 seconds to complete execution in DC-Power 21.3.

This issue was fixed for the Windows and NI Linux Real-Time drivers. This issue was not fixed for NI Linux Device drivers. 

Workaround:

Upgrade to NI-DCPower 21.3.1 or the latest version of NI-DCPower (21.5 and later) for Windows and NI Linux Real-Time users.
Upgrade to the latest version of NI Linux Device Drivers (2022 Q3 and later) for Linux users.

PXIe-4162 or PXI-4163 may return error -1074097799 when performing a device reset

Occasionally, resetting a PXIe-4162 or PXI-4163 SMU will return error -1074097799 (The device session is invalid). After this occurs, all subsequent calls to the instrument will return error -1074116989 (Internal Hardware Error) until the device is reset again.


Workaround:

Reset the device using NI MAX, the NI-DCPower API, or the System Configuration API:


Alternatively, upgrade to NI-DCPower 2022 Q4.
