Overview

The following items are notable issues fixed between the release of NI-DAQmxTM 21.3 and NI-DAQmx 21.8, including additional patches and service packs. If you have an issue ID, you can search this list to validate that the issue has been fixed. This is not an exhaustive list of issues fixed in the current version of NI-DAQmx.

PXIe-6612 configured for "Large Range with 2 Counters" Frequency Task produces incorrect Error -201313

When the NI PXIe-6612 is configured it for "Large Range with 2 Counters" frequency measurement while measuring low frequencies such as 1Hz, the full range cannot be measured. Instead you receive error -201313. 
This error is also produced when using the DAQmx Start Task when a low frequency signal is connected but the signal is still in the valid range.

Error -201313 Non-responsive counter detected. NI-DAQmx reset the counter. Counter timebases at the specified speed must remain periodic, otherwise the counter can become non-responsive. Use an internal timebase or an external timebase that remains periodic.

Support for DAQmx is broken in TDMS versions later than 19.0

When logging data with Linux RT, a TDMS error incorrectly reports that TDMS is not installed or is too old.

Workaround:

There is currently no known workaround for this issue.

Some optional items are no longer suggested during NI-DAQmx installation

The NI-DAQmx installer no longer suggests installing certain additional items; for example: NI-DAQmx Support for .NET Framework Languages or Web-Based Configuration and Monitoring.
