Installing NI-XNET or NI VeriStand on Windows Fails Due to Security RestrictionsNI-XNET or NI VeriStand installation can fail on Windows when group policy
prevents NI services from starting. Log on as a
service and Deny log on as a service group
policy settings restrict which accounts are allowed to be used with services.
NI installation software creates accounts with limited access to run NI
services. If policy settings prevent NI services
from starting, installation will fail. Remove the restrictions to complete
installation. Workaround: There is currently no known workaround for this issue. |
