This document contains the NI License Manager 4.2 known issues that were discovered before and since the previous release. Known issues are performance issues or technical bugs that NI has acknowledged exist within this version of the product.
Not every issue known to NI appears on this list; it is intended to show the most severe and common issues that you may encounter and provide workarounds when possible. Other technical issues that you may encounter could occur through normal product use or system compatibility issues. You may find more information on these issues in NI’s Product Documentation, Knowledgebase, or Community.

661235 Return | Hitting the escape key in the Licensing Wizard kills the application without a return code or message. If the escape key is entered while the licensing wizard is open, the client closes without any error code or message. This happens from NI License Manager as well as any NI software that calls the Licensing Wizard for activation. Workaround: Do not hit the escape key while the Licensing Wizard is open.

Workaround: Re-open NI License Manager, log in to the desired account, and attempt to activate.
