NI does not actively maintain this document.
This content provides support for older products and technology, so you may notice outdated links or obsolete information about operating systems or other relevant products.
This document contains the LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite 1.0 and 1.1 known issues that were discovered before and since the release of LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite 1.1. Not every issue known to NI will appear on this list; it is intended to only show the severe and more common issues that can be encountered.
The following items are known issues in LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite 1.0 and 1.1 sorted by Date.
ID | Known Issue | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
505995 Return | Multiplication with Inverted Terminals Change the Output to Double When Wired Multiplying with inverted terminals will always produce a double but it does not show it until the inputs are wired Workaround: N/A
| |||||
507482 Return | The IIR Filter FPGA IP Example Does Not Run on Hardware When opening the IIR Filter Example, the example runs in simulation. However, when switching to run the example in hardware, there are several issues: The 2nd Order IIR Filter.gvi shows up underneath the FPGA target which causes errors as the filter isn't supported on FPGA. In addition the Open FPGA VI has 'Run' set to False which produces an error. The Host.gvi has the close FPGA VI wired to True for 'abort?' which is not supported and will generate another error. Workaround: N/A
| |||||
507503 Return | FPGA Host Interface Example Returns Wrong Value In Indicator for USRP When running the FPGA Host Interface Example, the example reads a control 'x' and writes the value of 'x+1' to an indicator. However, the USRP portion of example shows that the indicator is returning 'x' in the 'x+1' indicator. Workaround: You can rebuild another example based off of the USRP example that points the 'x+1' value to the indicator instead of the 'x' value or use one of the other examples.
| |||||
537576 Return | SISO TDD OFDM Video Stream Example Does Not Work When running the batch script associated with SISO TDD OFDM Video Stream example, the video loopback fails in VLC. Workaround: Use an older version of VLC (2.1.5 or earlier).
| |||||
644853 Return | LabVIEW Communications 1.1, or earlier, cannot load bitfiles created in later versions of LabVIEW Communications and LabVIEW NXG Bitfiles created in LabVIEW Communications 2.0/NXG 1.0, or later, will fail to load in earlier versions of a LabVIEW Communications host VI with the message, This version of the bitfile is newer than the current version of the application. Workaround: N/A
