You can choose from a variety of methods for synchronizing DAQ across multiple CompactRIO devices. These methods fall into two categories: signal-based synchronization and time-based synchronization. At this session, examine all of the tools you can use for CompactRIO synchronization, including modules created specifically for timing and synchronization operations, APIs such as the FPGA Timekeeper to easily program synchronized acquisition programs, and the NI-TimeSync framework for fast prototyping and hands-off configuration. Learn from real-world scenario demonstrations the advantages and disadvantages of the different synchronization methods.
