NI-CAN Supported, 1- or 2-Port, Software-Selectable PXI CAN Interface Module—The PXI-8464 is a software-selectable Controller Area Network (CAN) interface for developing applications with the NI‑CAN driver. The PXI-8464 can communicate with high-speed, low-speed/fault tolerant, or single-wire CAN devices. The appropriate transceiver for each port is selected in a configuration utility or in the application. The PXI-8464 provides listen-only, self-reception (echo), and advanced filtering modes. Each PXI-8464 is shipped with NI-CAN driver software, which provides a frame-based API for rapid application development. All NI-CAN interfaces are designed to meet the physical and electrical requirements for in-vehicle (automotive) networks based on CAN.
