Metrology Laboratory Software helps students become familiar with metrology and electrical measuring devices.

Metrology Laboratory Software is a software add-on for LabVIEW that provides 12 metrology-related exercises and demonstrations based on the NI Engineering Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Suite (NI ELVIS). This add-on familiarizes students with working with digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators. Metrology Laboratory Software helps students explore direct and indirect methods of measuring voltage and current, investigate methods for measuring electrical resistance, and more. The add-on includes a user manual featuring instructions for the exercises and introductory information regarding error types, calculation methods, electrical measuring devices, and measurement methods. Additionally, students can save their exercise results as Microsoft Word format files.
