NI-iDDS Instrument Node

NI-iDDS Instrument Node is a Linux Real-Time application that implements the Instrumentation Data Distribution Service (iDDS) protocol for supported NI controllers. iDDS is a data abstraction protocol designed for data acquisition and control instruments in an integrated test environment. The iDDS abstraction enables plug-and-play of different vendor hardware within a test facility with minimal impact to other test system software components. The NI-iDDS Instrument Node software enables the NI controller to act as an iDDS-compliant instrumentation node within a iDDS-based test system.
