What Should I Do If the WTS Instrument Does Not Appear In MAX On the Client PC?

Start MAX on the
WTS
instrument and perform the steps in
Verifying
WTS
Instrument Connection directly from the instrument itself, using the local host IP address,
127.0.0.1.
The SCPI Interface Module window should appear. If the WTS instrument is available on the instrument itself, but the WTS still does not appear in MAX on the client PC, the problem is with the network connection, which can be physical, such as a bad network cable, or logical, such as a bad network connection or incorrect firewall settings.
- Try to ping the instrument from the client PC using the WTS instrument IP address.
- If the SCPI Interface Module window is not present in step 1, start the SCPI Interface Module from the Start menu.
- If the problem persists, reboot your client PC and the WTS , then repeat the previous steps.
